For our client located in Charleroi, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to accompany a team of two Senior Accountants. You will be responsible for some of the affiliates in collaboration with the controller.
The role?
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations: purchase-to-pay, payroll bookings, credit card transactions and employee expense reports
- Follow up on financial operations, including bank reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat and Intracom declarations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings, and statutory annual accounts
- Support the annual audit and contribute to consolidation activities
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, building controls, standardising workflows and digitalising tools
Requirements?
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting
- You are fluent in French and English, written and spoken
