Let’s shape it together. /p h3Job Description /h3 pAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, automate, and govern the software delivery lifecycle of containerized applications deployed on OpenShift. The role combines CI/CD engineering, DevSecOps practices, platform automation, observability, and release governance to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant delivery of enterprise applications. /p pYou will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins and automate build, testing, quality, security, and deployment processes. You will also implement release governance and deployment approval workflows, maintain reusable pipeline templates, and support application lifecycle and release management activities. /p pWorking closely with development teams, architects, security specialists, and operations teams, you will help industrialize application delivery and drive continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. You will support the deployment and operation of applications on OpenShift, work with Helm charts and container configurations, and help optimize application scalability, resilience, and resource consumption. /p pSecurity and reliability will be central to your role. You will integrate security controls into delivery pipelines, contribute to vulnerability and dependency management, and ensure the traceability and reproducibility of software releases. You will also implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability solutions while supporting incident analysis and root cause investigations. /p pThe main client for this position is BOSA. Other assignments may also be part of the role, in close collaboration with the DevOps team at Sopra Steria Belgium. /p h3Qualifications /h3 pWe’re seeking passionate colleagues who are eager to push the boundaries in digital transformation and technology consulting. At Sopra Steria, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in a constructive, collaborative team environment, working on impactful projects that drive change for our clients. /p ul liContainers Platforms: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm /li liCI/CD GitOps: Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD, Git, Bitbucket/GitLab, Argo CD /li liDevSecOps: SonarQube, Snyk or similar, vulnerability and dependency management, secrets management /li liRepositories: Nexus or JFrog Artifactory /li liMonitoring Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, centralized logging /li liDevelopment ecosystem: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices /li liWays of working: Jira, release management, automated testing and Infrastructure as Code /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and coach development teams and junior DevOps colleagues /li liLanguages: English and French or Dutch are mandatory.
