POSITION SUMMARY As Interim Finance Director / CFO, you will take overall responsibility for the financial management and oversight of the Dragone Group during a 4-to-6-month mission. Operating within a multinational, multi-entity and multi-currency environment, you will work closely with executive leadership, the finance team, project teams, and external financial partners to ensure strong financial governance, accurate reporting, cash-flow visibility, and effective financial decision-making. The role combines strategic financial leadership with a hands-on approach and will also contribute to strengthening the Group's financial processes, controls, and reporting structure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Leadership & Governance: Oversee the Group's finance function and provide executive leadership with clear financial analysis, recommendations, and visibility to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- International & Multi-Currency Management: Oversee financial activities across multiple entities, countries, currencies, and banking relationships, including foreign-exchange exposure, international cash flows, and intercompany transactions.
- Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage Group cash-flow forecasting, liquidity planning, treasury activities, banking relationships, payment planning, and working-capital requirements.
- Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across the Group, including consolidation of information from different entities and jurisdictions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead Group budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing management with reliable projections and variance analyses.
- Project Financial Oversight: Ensure appropriate financial monitoring of Dragone's international projects, including budgets, commitments, cash requirements, invoicing, cost control, and project profitability.
- Accounting, Tax & Compliance: Oversee accounting, statutory reporting, tax, audit, and compliance matters in coordination with internal teams and external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and other professional partners.
- Financial Risk Management: Identify financial, cash-flow, foreign-exchange, tax, contractual, and operational risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Processes & Internal Controls: Review and strengthen financial procedures, approval processes, reporting standards, internal controls, and financial tools across the organization.
- Finance Team Leadership: Support and coordinate the internal finance function, ensuring clear responsibilities, effective collaboration, and appropriate financial discipline across departments and projects.
- Strategic & Commercial Support: Assess the financial implications of new projects, partnerships, contracts, investments, and business opportunities and provide recommendations to executive leadership. ORGANIZATION & AUTONOMY You will act as a key financial partner to executive leadership while coordinating with teams and external partners across multiple countries and jurisdictions. This requires a high degree of autonomy, leadership, discretion, and the ability to quickly understand a complex international organization. The role demands both strategic perspective and a willingness to work hands-on with financial data, processes, and operational teams. Given the interim nature of the mission, you will be expected to rapidly assess priorities, address immediate financial needs, strengthen existing processes, and establish a clear and sustainable financial framework for the organization.
YOUR PROFILE
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant experience as CFO, Finance Director, Group Finance Director, Deputy CFO, or in a comparable senior financial leadership position.
- Strong experience within a multinational and multi-entity organization.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-currency operations, international cash flows, and foreign-exchange exposure.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash-flow management, and internal controls.
