The focus of your architecture activities will be to establish resilient enterprise architectures for business and IT problems in line with the ING Belgium and Group. /p pOur job purpose is to translate business and tech vision and strategy into effective enterprise architectures by creating, communicating and improving the key principles and architectural stories and models that describe the future state and enable its evolution to deliver the IT Architecture for the organization and its customers. /p pYou will work within the ING Belgium Tech department in the Centre of Expertise (CoE) Architecture. You will closely collaborate with the engineering community and the local and ING Group architecture community. You will be supported by a chapter lead focussing on your professional evolution and a lead architect focussing on the content of the domains you are working in. /p h3Your

key responsibilities
/h3 pThe enterprise architect /p ul liExecutes the global Business IT Roadmap process, with centralised designs and (logical) global decompositions. /li liWill work with a (virtual) team of domain and solution architects, both in a local and a global ING context. Key stakeholders outside the architecture community are both local and global Business and IT leadership: Product (Area) Leads and IT (Area) Leads. /li liDraft, communicate and get approval for your IT architecture solution designs towards the target state, and applies global standards and solutions where possible. /li liDrafts architectural roadmaps (logical sequence of steps), monitors and manages the progress of the execution of Business IT-Roadmaps towards the target state. /li /ul h3We look for /h3 pA colleague with a talent for taking it on and making it happen, enthusiasm for helping others to be successful and a knack for always being a step ahead. You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems. /p pAs an Architect, you will also need: /p ul liUniversity / Postgraduate (Master’s Degree). /li liAt least 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience. /li liIn-depth affinity with the architecture practice. /li liA TOGAF, ArchiMate and/or Public Cloud (GCP / Azure) certifications will be a plus. /li liBroad interest and knowledge, especially in the areas of Data and Analytics. This includes Data Management, Data Governance, Data Technology as well as the broad domain of analytics, including all flavours of AI: GenAI, Composite AI, Agentic AI, … /li liUnderstanding of the relevant legal and regulatory requirements underpinning and constraining the area of data and analytics (e.g. GPDR, BCBS 239, AI Act) /li liProficient in English (ING’s corporate language) and Dutch or French. /li liBehavioural competences: innovative, collaborative, communicative, manage complexity in a qualitative way. /li liTechnical competences: special attention to data, privacy, security and ethics, in an autonomous way of working as go-to-person for the architects, Business and IT leadership. /li /ul h3We offer you /h3 pbA clear purpose, a unique offer and a range of flexible compensation and other
