Responsibilities:
/strong /h3ulliDevelop, maintain, and enhance COBOL-based applications on IBM Mainframe /liliAnalyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions /liliWork with DB2 databases to design, query, and optimize data processes /liliPerform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps /liliParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint delivery /liliSupport production systems, including incident resolution and performance tuning /liliMaintain system and technical documentation /liliEnsure compliance with banking regulations and internal governance standards /li /ulh3strongTechnical Skills
Requirements:
/strong /h3ulliSolid experience with IBM Mainframe technologies (e.g., JCL, CICS, DB2) /liliProficiency in SQL and DB2 database management /liliExperience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, work item tracking) /liliFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies /liliWorking knowledge of VB.
Net and/or C# /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /li /ulh3strongPreferred
Skills:
/strong /h3ulliExperience in the banking or financial services sector /liliUnderstanding of Basel III and IFRS9 frameworks (advantageous) /liliKnowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking /liliExposure to modernisation/integration of legacy systems /li /ul
