As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing automotive projects from product and process development through to industrialization and serial production.
You will act as the central point of contact between customers, suppliers, and internal departments, ensuring that projects are
delivered according to quality, budget, and timing objectives.
The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and strong technical understanding of plastic injection molding processes and industrialization activities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage projects throughout the complete development lifecycle, from concept and design phase to industrialization and production launch.
• Define, monitor, and update project plans, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities involving Engineering, Tooling, Quality, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales.
• Organize and lead project meetings with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Support the selection and validation of materials, components, and technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, timing plans, and technical reports.
• Act as the primary interface for customers and suppliers during project execution.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor project KPIs and prepare management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to products, processes, and project management practices.
This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and may evolve according to departmental needs.Profil • Master's degree in Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Technology, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or project management within a manufacturing environment (plastic injection or automotive sector is a strong asset).
• Strong project planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork capabilities.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and industrial processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
