Regulatory Engineer (Pre-Commissioning)
As a Regulatory Engineer , you will support the Pre-Commissioning phase of a major industrial project . You will review technical and regulatory documentation and ensure that all required documentation is complete and compliant before Commissioning.
Both experienced engineers and motivated junior engineers with a strong technical background are encouraged to apply.
Your main responsibilities:
Technical & Regulatory Review: Review contractor documentation and assess Declarations of Conformity (DoC) and Declarations of Performance (DoP) .
European Compliance: Verify compliance with applicable directives and regulations, including Machinery (MD), Pressure Equipment (PED), Low Voltage (LVD), EMC, RoHS and Construction Products (CPR) .
Local Requirements: Review compliance with VLAREM, AREI and Fire & Gas (F&G) requirements.
Compliance Gaps: Discuss findings and required actions with contractors and project stakeholders.
Document Management: Manage and track regulatory documentation through a SharePoint-based system .
Project Support: Ensure all regulatory documentation is complete and ready for the Commissioning phase .
Your profile
We are looking for an analytical and communicative engineer who can work independently while coordinating closely with contractors and project teams.
You have:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience with CE marking, regulatory compliance or technical document review is a strong advantage.
Junior engineers with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Experience with SharePoint or digital document management systems is highly desirable.
Dutch is preferable, as it is the official language for regulatory certificates.
A valid VCA-VOL certificate, or willingness to obtain it before the start date.
The necessary documentation to work in Belgium.
