Mainframe Developer
Location: Brussels
Work arrangement: Hybrid
You’ll build and maintain applications that support our business operations. As a Mainframe Developer, you’ll work closely with the IT team to deliver reliable software and improve existing systems.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain mainframe applications using PL/I and DB2.
- Analyse user needs and turn them into clear system specifications.
- Implement, test, and debug new functionality and system upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing applications.
- Document software and prepare user guides.
What you bring:
- A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience in mainframe development, particularly with PL/I and DB2.
- A sound understanding of software development processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum team is a plus.
