About the Role
We are supporting a well-established industrial production environment in West Flanders that is looking to strengthen its automation team with an experienced Freelance Automation Engineer. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they are looking for an additional hands-on engineer to support ongoing and future automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support automation projects across production and process environments
- Work on Siemens-based systems, including development, optimisation, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal teams and external integrators
- Assist with commissioning, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide hands-on support on-site where required What You Bring
- Strong experience with Siemens automation systems
- Proven experience with:
- PCS7
- WinCC Unified / Unified environments
- Solid project experience across industrial/process environments
- Good understanding of process-driven industries (e.g. food, chemicals, manufacturing)
- Ability to work independently and integrate into existing teams
- Dutch-speaking and based locally in Belgium (West Flanders region preferred) Contract Details
