My client is a consumer goods organisation looking for someone on an initial 6 month freelance contract with scope for extension based in Brussels, Belgium.
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Consultant with 8-14 years of ERP implementation and transformation experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in D365 Finance & Operations modules, end-to-end ERP transformation programs, data migration, system integration, and business process optimization. The candidate should have hands-on experience in migrating legacy ERP systems to Microsoft D365 F&O and working with global stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations functions.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Solution ResponsibilitiesLead requirement gathering workshops and translate business requirements into D365 F&O solutions.
Design and configure D365 Finance & Operations modules based on business needs.
Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend industry best practices.
Support business process re-engineering and digital transformation initiatives.
Prepare solution design documents, functional specifications, and process flows.
Collaborate with business users, architects, technical teams, and vendors.
Migration ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end ERP migration initiatives from legacy systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, AX, Infor, etc.) to D365 F&O.
Define migration strategy, migration waves, cutover plans, and deployment approach.
Perform data assessment, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities.
Work with Data Management Framework (DMF), Data Entities, and migration tools.
Support mock migrations, testing cycles, cutover, and hypercare activities.
Ensure data integrity and compliance throughout migration programs.
Integration & Technical CollaborationWork closely with integration teams for interfaces with third-party applications.
Collaborate on APIs, Azure Integration Services, Power Platform, and middleware solutions.
Support security roles, workflow configuration, and reporting requirements.
Testing & DeploymentLead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities.
Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans. xdkqlui Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
