Expert Tower Calculations Engineer

About the role
As a VeroTech consultant, you will support engineering projects for high-voltage overhead line infrastructure, focusing on the calculation, design and validation of transmission towers and related steel structures. You will work on new structures as well as modifications to existing assets, combining detailed structural analysis with practical project execution support.
You will collaborate with project teams, designers, suppliers, contractors and other technical stakeholders to deliver robust engineering studies, procurement input and field support. The role requires strong ownership of technical quality, planning and continuous improvement of calculation methods and software tools.

Key responsibilities
Lead studies and design work for new transmission towers and modifications to existing structuresPerform specialized structural calculations and plan engineering studies according to project requirementsGuide internal and external designers in developing accurate calculation modelsPrepare technical input for tender files and contribute to the procurement processValidate produced towers and structures at the manufacturer or in a test environmentProvide technical support for field execution and work preparation with project stakeholdersMonitor quality, perform controls, report findings and improve calculation rules in software toolsWhat we're looking forWe are looking for an analytical engineering profile with strong structural calculation skills, a practical mindset and the ability to collaborate across technical project environments.
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, architecture or physicsAffinity with detailed technical studies and specialized engineering activitiesKnowledge and experience in designing steel structuresExperience with engineering software, 3D design and finite element softwareFamiliarity with relevant standards such as EurocodesStrong sense of responsibility, good organizational skills and ability to work well in a teamExperience in expertise or engineering activities is a plusKnowledge of MS Project, VB.
