- someone who understands both the setups and the accounting behind them, and who users trust when a ledger refuses to balance.br/bWhat You Would Be Doingbr/ /b /pulliResolving second and third line incidents and service requests on the Oracle EBS Financials and Purchasing applications, and keeping every ticket accurate and within service levels /liliAnalysing new requirements and change requests, then writing the functional design and the documentation that goes with them /liliEstimating effort for changes and making sure each one is properly tested end to end before users see it for acceptance /liliEscalating the hard cases to the vendor or other teams and staying on them until users are satisfied /liliBuilding up the knowledge base, training users on good practice and running the occasional briefing /liliWorking alongside the wider team in daily stand‑ups and planning sessionsbr/ /li /ulbWhat you would bringbr/ /bulliDeep hands‑on knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 Financials and Purchasing: General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Cash Management and Sub‑Ledger Accounting /liliSolid grasp of E-Business Tax, Purchasing and Fixed Assets flows and what they do to the General Ledger /liliBudgetary control, encumbrance and accrual accounting, ideally in a public sector setting /liliMonth‑end and year‑end close, reconciliation, consolidation, revaluation, bank reconciliation and electronic payment formats /liliFinance approval workflows, travel claim processes and the reporting that sits on top of it all /liliExperience of L2/L3 support, basic SQL, configuration management and ITIL 4 with BMC Remedy /liliSustained recent assignments in this space and full professional Englishbr/ /li /ulbWhy this one is worth a lookbr/ /bIt is a specialist seat where Oracle Financials depth is the whole point, on a platform used across an entire international organisation, under a standing framework rather than a one-off project.
