Finance Director

Reporting solid line to the Managing Director and dotted line to the CFO, the Finance Director will act as a business partner with a hands-on attitude. The mission is to create transparency in financial and operational data, enabling commercial finance and transformation, performance management and actively supporting growth opportunities (M&A, expansion investments, ...).

Areas of responsibility:

Financial, business Management & Operational Reporting

  • Develop structured financial and operational reporting, with focus on commercial finance
  • Translate financial data for management and support performance monitoring across practices
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as cashflow management and reporting

Business Intelligence, Data & Systems

  • Build BI to support the business in the change trajectory and lead the setup and further development of BI systems, data lakes and/or data warehouses
  • Drive system integrations between finance, operational and data sources

Accounting & Financial Control

  • Oversee and coordinate accounting activities across the entities, monthly financial closing and reporting and act as key contact for the external accountant, as well as for auditors and advisors
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial performance

M&A Support

  • Assist with financial due diligence, valuations, integration planning and post-merger reporting and support the (financial) integration of newly acquired practices

Corporate Governance & Housekeeping

  • Act as a statutory director in the 11 companies of the group
  • Manage and oversee all formal corporate governance requirements and ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in financial, commercial management and reporting, accounting
  • Proven exposure to IT systems, system integrations, BI tools and data-driven environments
  • Experience with M&A processes is a strong plus
  • Experience in the health care sector is a plus, yet not mandatory
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking and hands-on mentality combined with strategic insight
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities

Compensation package: Euro 90,000 – 110,000 + bonus + benefits

The overall compensation package will be defined based on the selected candidate's experience, skills and qualifications.

Location: Antwerp, Belgium (hybrid working policy)
