We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join a dynamic and fast-growing international organization based in Ghent. In this role, you will act as a key financial partner to the business, helping shape strategic decisions and driving performance across multiple entities.

Your impact

As Senior Financial Controller, you will play a central role in strengthening financial control, reporting, and business performance management. You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to ensure high-quality financial insights that support growth and efficiency.

You will:

• Lead monthly closing, reporting, and performance analysis across multiple entities
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data and management reporting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles
• Act as a sparring partner to operations, sales, and senior management
• Improve and optimize financial processes, systems, and internal controls
• Support ad hoc business cases, investments, and strategic initiatives
• Contribute to ERP/reporting improvements and automation initiatives
• Play a key role in audit coordination and compliance

Your profile

We are looking for someone who combines analytical strength with a strong business mindset.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or similar
• 5–8+ years of experience in controlling, audit, or FP&A
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
• Strong communicator xlxgzvr who can translate complex data into clear insights
• Proactive, hands-on, and business-oriented mindset
