Our multidisciplinary team of experts offer strategic, technical, and regulatory advice in all fields related to power transmission, as well as a range of specialist solutions to a diverse and international client base in the power sector. /p pElia Grid International has offices in Belgium, Germany, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Malaysia and Canada. /p h3Your function /h3 pEGI wishes to reinforce its team working on Power System Operations and Security in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, Energy and Balancing Market Integration. To achieve this, we are looking for experienced professionals with expertise in the field of transmission system operation. These experts will take part in local and international projects focusing on RES integration, security of supply, sustainability and economic efficiency of Power Systems. /p pTypical activities involve (but are not limited to): /p ul liAnalysis and definition of operational principles; /li liModel definition and validation; /li liSteady-state (load flow, short circuit calculations etc); /li liDynamic stability analysis (frequency, voltage stability..); /li liGrid Code requirement and connection compliance studies; /li liSupport the analysis and evaluation of grid reliability and security (eg capacity calculation, balancing, operational planning..); /li liSupport the company's business development teams in identifying and pursuing opportunities by establishing trusted relationships with our clients and developing of proposals. /li /ul pYour responsibilities will be decided based on your competencies and expertise and will be discussed during your interviews with managers. /p h3Your profile /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics; /li li10+ years of experience in Power System Operations and Security (balancing and RES system integration, system operation and state-of-the-art technological solutions); /li liExpertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions; /li liKnowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE). /li liFluent in English; /li liKnowledge of German, Dutch and/or French is a strong asset. /li /ul h3What
