About the Role

Title: Senior SAS Platform Administrator & Developer

Work location: Ringstation II

Desired start date: 01 January 2027

End date: 31 December 2031

Experience required: 5–10 years (Senior)

Language: French C1 and DUTCH B1 #MUST

Task description: The Data & Analytics team has been using SAS technology for decades. We are looking for an experienced SAS administrator and developer to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Main tasks:
• Management/administration of the SAS platform:
• Configure and secure SAS
• Monitor server activity and administer logging
• Add users and manage roles
• Set up connectivity with data sources
• Set up and secure metadata folder structures;
  administer repositoriesand metadata
• Provide first-line support to power and end users
• Install and configure SAS 9 server under Linux
• Promotion and code review of programs written by developers
• Development of ETL programs in SAS and SAS/DI in the data warehouse
• Drafting technical documentation
• Additionally, R and Python are also used. xlxgzvr The consultant must be able to perform the same tasks with these technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience required: 5–10 years (Senior)

Required Skills

• Technical Skills
• Knowledge of Dutch or French (C1: advanced mastery)
• Knowledge of the second national language (B1: intermediate)
• Knowledge of English: understand, write, and read (B2: upper intermediate)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAS/BASE, SAS/MACRO, SAS/SQL development + in-depth knowledge of these tools (L3)
• In-depth knowledge of SAS V9.4 + Data Integration Studio and SAS platform management procedures (L3)
• Good knowledge of SAS Viya and its environment (L3)
• Good knowledge of Python and R (L2: minimum 2 years)
• Good knowledge of shell scripting under Linux (L2: minimum 2 years)
• Knowledge of OpenShift (L1: at least some experience)

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of OpenShift (L1: at least some experience)
