Job Overview
Senior Legal Advisor – responsible for providing top-tier legal support, participating in joint committees, and drafting collective bargaining agreements.
Use your expertise in labor law and bilingual communication skills to have a significant impact on industry-wide discussions.
Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line legal assistance to members, both verbally and in writing, regarding labor law.
- Actively participate in joint committees, engaging in negotiations, drafting collective bargaining agreements, coordinating with other organizations, and serving on various sectoral bodies.
- Draft articles, memos, document templates, and collective bargaining agreements, while ensuring the website is regularly updated. Communicate with members in both Dutch and French.
- Organize and facilitate working groups and meetings, and draft the corresponding minutes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in law or equivalent professional experience with a strong focus on labor law.
- Fluent in French and Dutch.
- Good understanding of or experience with joint committees and collective bargaining agreements.
- Knowledge of tax law and/or public procurement.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Practical approach, self‑reliant, and able to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Class B driver’s license.
