Closely linked to transfer pricing our multidisciplinary tax teams work side by side, both in Belgium and across borders, to help clients make the changes they need to be transparent and sustainable. /p /brpIn order to reinforce our team, we are looking for a Global Tax (Senior) Manager. /p /brpYour Impact As a VAT Consultant within our team based in Belgium, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, assisting them with their VAT compliance needs and ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements. You'll make an impact by: /p /brul /brliAdvising clients on VAT compliance strategies, processes, and policies to ensure they meet Belgian and international VAT requirements. /li /brliLeading VAT projects in a structured, critical, and creative way to support our clients' needs. /li /brliContinuously expanding your knowledge around Belgian and international VAT regulations and sharing this knowledge with the team. /li /brliCollaborating with other tax colleagues to offer comprehensive solutions to our clients. /li /brliBuilding your professional network and maintaining current client relationships to collaborate on business opportunities. /li /brliLeading a client service team and ensuring service delivery according to high-quality standards. /li /brliActively coaching the VAT compliance team and playing a significant role in the further development of the VAT practice. /li /br /ul /brpYou have: /p /brul /brliAt least 5 years of relevant experience in VAT compliance. /li /brliExperience gained in-house, in a Big-4 or law firm, or with Tax Authorities. /li /brliA Master’s degree in Tax law, Business Engineering, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative discipline. /li /brliA postgraduate qualification in tax law is an asset. /li /brliA strong interest in business and corporate strategy. /li /brliStrong analytical abilities. /li /brliInterest in working in an international environment. /li /brliFluent knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus. /li /brliThe ability to take complex concepts and analyses and clearly explain them in written form. /li /brliAttention to detail, the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, and a willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks. /li /brliThe ability to work well in team-based environments and have strong communication skills. /li /brliThe ability to take a coaching role for the VAT compliance team and guide younger professionals in their career development. /li /br /ul /brpLife at PwC Belgium Our culture and workplace are something we’re proud of.
