pA hands-on role at the crossroads of cloud, Kubernetes and FinOps, with autonomy on well-scoped technical topics. /p h3Context and project /h3 pAs part of the reinforcement of its cloud capabilities and the structuring of its industrialisation, governance and cost control practices, the organisation is looking for a mid-level Platform Engineer. The profile combines a solid technical foundation in Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration with first hands-on experience of FinOps practices. /p h3Role and responsibilities /h3 pThe role involves contributing to the design, deployment, automation and operation of cloud and Kubernetes platforms. The infrastructures delivered are reproducible and governed, and follow good cloud cost control practices: tagging, consumption monitoring, drift detection and support for optimisation initiatives. /p ul liDevelop, maintain and document the building blocks required to use Terraform for provisioning cloud infrastructure at scale. /li liTake part in the administration, deployment and optimisation of Kubernetes platforms. /li liContribute to the industrialisation of deployments through CI/CD pipelines and rigorous Git and GitOps practices. /li liImplement the tagging, naming and governance standards required to manage costs. /li liAnalyse cloud consumption and identify first FinOps optimisation opportunities. /li liTake part in setting up dashboards, cost reports and budget alerts. /li liWork with the architecture, security, DevOps, infrastructure and application teams to ensure deployments that are reliable, secure and financially controlled. /li liWrite technical documentation, runbooks, operating procedures and best practice guides. /li /ul h3Education and experience /h3 pMid-level: minimum 3 years in a similar position (Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer or equivalent role), ideally in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment. This level allows autonomous work on well-scoped technical topics, while escalating architecture or governance decisions. /p h3Technical skills /h3 pRequired: /p ul liStrong command of Terraform and Kubernetes. /li liExperience with a source code management system and CI/CD pipelines (3 years). /li liFirst experience with FinOps tools, processes or practices: cost monitoring, tag-based allocation, budgets, alerts, anomalies, resource optimisation. /li liGood understanding of cloud-native principles: automation, scalability, resilience, security by design and observability. /li liAbility to document implemented solutions clearly and to transfer knowledge to internal teams. /li /ul pNice to have: /p ul liPractical knowledge of AWS: accounts, IAM, networking, observability, budgets, Cost Explorer or equivalent services. /li liPractical knowledge of Azure: cloud resources, monitoring or governance. /li liPractical knowledge of Azure DevOps: Repos, Pipelines. /li liKnowledge of Entra ID for identity integration, federation, SSO or access management. /li liExperience with KubeCost or OpenCost for cost analysis and allocation. /li liKnowledge of cloud security principles, RBAC, secrets management and integration with observability tools. /li liAutonomy, rigour and sense of responsibility. /li liAbility to work with technical and non-technical teams. /li liAnalytical mindset, to understand the links between architecture, usage and costs. /li liSolution-oriented, with a focus on automation, standardisation and continuous improvement. /li liGood written and verbal communication, with particular attention to documentation. /li /ul h3Required languages /h3 ul liFrench: C2 level /li /ul h3Location and conditions /h3 ul liAssignment type: Time Material, daily rate basis /li /ul
