Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day accounting activities and work closely with EagleBurgmann’ s Shared Service Center on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger activities.
- Prepare and coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings.
- Prepare the financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure the timely provision of required information.
- Act as a backup for the Finance Controller based in France.
- Contribute to maintaining and strengthening internal financial controls and processes.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions.
Qualifications
- A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable combination of education and professional experience.
- Previous experience in accounting, controlling or a similar finance role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a fact-based approach.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- The ability to adapt quickly to new situations, processes and ways of working.
- A proactive, hands-on and highly motivated attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage.
