FunctieomschrijvingAs a Technical Expert, you will provide specialized support for offshore ships, focusing on fixed cranes. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure top-notch maintenance of all technical systems and equipment. This role includes creating work orders, developing maintenance plans, and working with external suppliers and service providers for knowledge exchange and optimal performance. Main tasks ans responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support for internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC).
- Stay informed on the latest developments and innovations in crane technology.
- Establish maintenance and repair standards to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational reliability.
- Ensure all technical work preparations prioritize safety and efficiency.
In order to perform this role you will need:
- A degree in mechanical engineering is ideal; significant experience with offshore cranes is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience in a mechanical environment, preferably with cranes.
- Strong technical knowledge and adept at problem-solving.
- Proactive, solution-oriented team player with excellent communication skills.
- Willing to travel as needed (up to 20%).
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
