Our client, a global leader in materials technology and sustainable solutions, is seeking a Senior IT Analyst to drive business transformation and digital initiatives. The role involves acting as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex requirements into scalable digital solutions within an industrial environment.
Facilitate the communication between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure alignment.
Gather, challenge, and document business requirements to produce clear functional specifications.
Develop detailed source-to-target mappings and functional documentation for the development team.
Support the migration of legacy data platforms to modern cloud-based environments.
Analyze industrial manufacturing and business processes to identify opportunities for digitalization and optimization.
Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and key users throughout the entire project lifecycle.8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or IT Analyst within large-scale enterprise environments.8+ years of experience in requirements gathering, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and documenting functional specifications.
Proven expertise in data analysis and creating source-to-target mappings.
Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, LIMS, MES, or PI.
Extensive background in data platform migrations or ERP transformations.
Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Knowledge of process modeling, design thinking, and UI/UX journeys.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
You're highly independent and capable of driving complex topics to completion.
You are fluent in English.
Nice to HavesExperience with Databricks and cloud data platforms.
Knowledge of business case development.
Willingness to travel occasionally to manufacturing sites.
Start date: ASAPDuration: project until end of 2026.
Work regime: Full-timeLocation: BrusselsWorking model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week onsite).
Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers
