We are looking for an Advanced Solution Architect specialised in Drupal ecosystems, cloud architecture, and web platform design to join our team. In this role, you will lead the technical design of scalable, interoperable digital solutions, translate complex stakeholder requirements into robust architectures, and drive cloud migration efforts. You will contribute to an international scientific and technological project supporting European institutions by designing and guiding the evolution of the platform. System & Cloud Architecture: Design scalable, interoperable web platform architectures and execute cloud migration strategies. Requirements & Solution Design: Translate stakeholder needs into modern cloud digital solutions and create core architectural artifacts (context diagrams, C4 models, API contracts, and data models). Technical Leadership: Lead development teams through the technical life cycle, establishing best practices in CMS, API management, and cloud integrations. Drupal Ecosystem & Web Services: Direct the end-to-end technical approach for decoupled architectures, back-end/front-end integrations, security, and geospatial services. Security & Accessibility: Enforce cybersecurity standards and web accessibility compliance across all digital platforms. Requirements
Education & Experience: Master's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, OR Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of IT experience. Architecture: 10+ years translating requirements into scalable digital system architectures. Drupal Expertise: 10+ years of technical proficiency in Drupal ecosystems (back-end, front-end, decoupled architecture, security, and geospatial services) Technical Leadership: At least 3 years providing technical leadership in Content Management Systems (CMS). Languages: High level of English (minimum B2). Stack
Core Technologies: PHP, Drupal (APIs, hooks, services, custom modules), Python, Java, MySQL / MariaDB. Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / jQuery. Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture: AWS, Azure, OVH, Microservices, Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP). APIs & Integration: REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI. DevSecOps & Containers: GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes. Standards & Compliance: Security principles (ISO 27001, OWASP) and accessibility standards (WCAG). What we offer
