Taleo Consulting is a Brussels-based consultancy specialised in placing talent with leading organisations in banking, insurance, IT, pharma and engineering across Belgium.
The opportunity
On behalf of a major Belgian bank, we are looking for several experienced Business Analysts to strengthen its payments and cards teams. The missions are:
- Cards: improving card products and services within an agile squad
- Instant Payments / SEPA: delivering instant payment features, from business requirements to go-live
- International Payments: removing friction in cross-border and FX payment flows to make them more STP
Your responsibilities
- Analyse issues and change requests, and propose improvements to payment and card products
- Turn business needs into clear business requirements and acceptance criteria for IT and Operations
- Lead workshops with business, IT, Operations and architects
- Define the business scope, target operating model and processes, including process modelling and flow charts
- Follow up delivery through Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and go-live
Your profile
- At least 5–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in payments (SEPA, Instant, international/FX) or cards
- Strong business knowledge of payment and/or card products and processes
- Ability to bridge business and IT on complex topics
- Fluent in English and French and Dutch
- Master's degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Agile experience (squads, Product Owner collaboration)
- Knowledge of the Belgian payments and cards market (Wero, Apple Pay, etc.)
- Experience with process optimisation, data analytics or AI in payments
