OrganizationDepartment: Pharmaceutical Affairs / Quality Assurance
Reports to: Head of Pharmaceutical Affairs
FunctionThe QA Officer provides support to the RP for QA-related activities and acts as Deputy RP in the absence of the RP.
- Decision on damaged goods
- Perform administrative controls of products entering the market
- Management of nearly expired goods
- Recall
- Receipt and control of goods
- Good documentation practice
- Change control management
- Handling of suspected falsified products
- Obtain import permits for the products listed on the narcotic license.
- Act as the main contact person with QA Malta team. Follow up on QP market releases for the BE.
- Educational background: Master in pharmaceutical sciences or Pharmacist, Master of Biology, Chemist, Veterinarian or master of veterinary medicine, physician or master of medicine, master in bio-engineering or bio-engineer, bio-medicine or master in biomedical sciences.
- Experience: preferably 1 or 2 years in a QA environment
- IT: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Acrobat
- (Inter)personal skills: Highly motivated and organized person with a flexible attitude; detail-oriented, autonomous, team player, communicative, commercially oriented, stress resistant.
