pOur client, a leading organization in the public safety sector, is seeking a professional to assist in the modernization of their data architecture. The role focuses on migrating legacy systems to an open environment to improve data accessibility for analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives. This position involves developing application components and web services within an innovative and agile framework. /p ul liPerform technical analysis and design for data exchange services and bREST APIs /b to ensure system integration. /li liDevelop robust application components using bPHP /b and bJavaScript /b to support architectural evolution. /li liModernize strategic solutions by integrating new functionalities related to bAI /b and data analysis. /li liCollaborate with development teams to define technical architecture and ensure secure, interoperable outcomes. /li liParticipate in the full development lifecycle within a bDevOps /b and bAgile /b environment. /li /ul ul li3+ years of experience in backend and frontend development using bPHP /b and bJavaScript /b. /li li3+ years of experience designing and implementing bREST APIs /b and bWeb Services /b. /li li3+ years of experience working with bSQL /b, bNoSQL /b, and bPostgreSQL /b databases. /li li3+ years of experience with bOAuth 2.0 /b, bOpenID Connect /b, and bJWT-Based Tokens /b. /li li3+ years of experience in bSoftware Architecture /b and applying bDesign Principles /b and patterns. /li li3+ years of experience with bContainerization /b and bDevOps /b workflows, specifically using bGitLab /b. /li li3+ years of experience implementing bSecurity By Design /b and application security protocols. /li liYou are proactive, autonomous, and possess strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality. /li liYou are native in bFrench /b or bDutch /b with passive knowledge of the other and have active knowledge of bEnglish /b. /li /ul h3Nice to Haves /h3 ul li1+ years of experience with bautomated testing /b. /li /ul ul libStart date: /b 01/11/2026 /li libDuration: /b 2 months with potential for extension /li libWork regime: /b Full-time (40 hours per week) /li libLocation: /b Brussels /li libWorking model: /b Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite) /li libContract: /b open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /ul
