As part of our vision to enable immersive experiences, Consumer Experience combines world-class sound with visualization expertise to redefine how people engage with content, entertainment, and their surroundings. Senior Electronics Design EngineerAs a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will join the R&D team responsible for developing the next generation of high-end HiFi systems for Naim Audio and premium speaker solutions for Focal. You will take ownership of designing and implementing advanced electronic circuits that contribute directly to the performance and sound quality of these products.
Working within a cross-functional R&D environment, you will collaborate closely with Embedded Software Engineers, Mechanical Designers, and Test Engineers across the full product lifecycle—from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop digital electronics including microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC/ADC, Ethernet, and DDR memoryPerform high-speed digital design and develop linear and switched-mode power suppliesDesign and simulate analogue circuits, including amplifiers and audio filtersPrototype, test, and validate PCBs and electronic circuits, including bench testingEnsure compliance with EMC and ESD requirements and conduct pre-compliance assessmentsParticipate in electronics design and architecture reviews, and evaluate design feasibilitySelect components for long-term reliability, availability, and compliance with standards such as RoHS and REACHApply Design for Manufacturability and Serviceability (DFM & DFS) principlesStay up to date with emerging technologies and assess their applicabilityCreate schematics and design PCB layouts, including analogue, power, and interconnection designsSupport system integration activitiesLiaise with suppliers and external partners, including RF design consultants, ODM partners, PCB manufacturers, and test equipment providersDefine technical specifications and support custom component development and sourcingYour ProfileDegree in Electronics Engineering or a related disciplineApproximately 8+ years of experience in designing complex electronic products in a commercial environmentStrong expertise in digital systems (e.g. digital audio, high-speed design, FPGA or RF technologies)Solid experience in analogue electronics designHands-on lab experience, including debugging prototypes and using oscilloscopes and logic analysersExperience with ECAD tools, preferably AltiumKnowledge of global safety standards and EMC/ESD compliance requirementsFamiliarity with collaborative development tools such as Confluence and JiraKnowledge of RF technologies (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and EMC-sensitive applications is beneficialExperience in the audio industry, including critical listening during design, is an assetStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, share knowledge, and mentor junior engineersStructured, rigorous, and organised approach, with openness to challengesOur OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageHoliday allowancePension and insurance benefitsHealth and wellbeing supportLearning and development opportunitiesEmployee discounts and recognition programsA collaborative and inclusive work environmentModern workplace facilitiesFull-time employment with long-term career growth opportunities
