Working closely with business stakeholders, architecture communities and external partners, you help shape the future application landscape of Elia Transmission Belgium. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and develop the IT Solutions Architecture department, including people, budget and workforce planning. /liliEnsure proper staffing of the solution and architecture domains both in quantity and quality in order to serve the product teams. /liliDefine and drive the technology and application strategy across the organisation. /liliEnsure strong technical leadership within product teams and promote high engineering standards. /liliTranslate, complete and enforce architecture principles, standards and governance processes within the delivery teams (products projects). /liliWith the team, ensure that governance, notably with regards architecture documentation decisions, are followed and embedded into the delivery teams across the Elia organisation. /liliEnsure that roadmaps of modernization and refactoring towards cloud-native are effectively delivered. /liliManage key relationships with technology partners and suppliers. /liliAct as a trusted advisor to the CIO, business leaders and senior stakeholders on solution and architecture matters. /liliOversee application lifecycle management, technical debt reduction and technology modernisation initiatives. /liliDevelop talent, capabilities and career paths within the architecture and solution community. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliMaster's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience. /liliExtensive experience in IT leadership within complex enterprise environments. /liliProven track record in leading large teams through managers and senior technical experts. /liliStrong expertise in solution architecture, application delivery and architecture governance. /liliExperience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and service management principles such as ITIL. /liliSolid understanding of modern application, cloud, integration and data technologies. /liliExperience with agile or product-driven organisations. /liliProven experience in vendor management, sourcing and strategic technology decisions. /liliStrong understanding of security, resilience and compliance requirements. /liliExcellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. /liliStrategic mindset combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach. /liliFluent in English and professionally proficient in French or Dutch, with knowledge of the other national language.
