pAldoriais expanding its activities in Belgium and is looking for a motivatedSSA Engineerto supportits activitieswithin our growing European team.
You will work closely with thetechnical team inBelgium and contribute to thedevelopmentof projects related to space surveillance, optical sensor networks, and orbital safety services. /p pThispositionoffers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the rapidly evolving space sector, working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer engagement. /p pAs aSSA Engineer, you willdesign,developand superviseadvancedSSAsystemsin an international aerospace environment,shaping the future of space security andcollaboratewith institutions across the sector. /p ul liDesign, develop, andmaintainalgorithms forSSAapplications, including space object tracking, catalog maintenance, orbit determination,andsatellite attitudecharacterization. /li liTranslate scientific research and mathematical models into working algorithms. /li liManage data pipelines and implement tools for data visualization. /li liDefine technical requirementsandproduce system designs. /li liWork with ground-based sensor data and space object catalogs to support SSA services and analyses. /li liCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing technicalexpertiseand supporting problem resolution throughout the system lifecycle. /li liProactively analyze complex technical problems and propose effective, robust solutions. /li /ul h3Skills Experience /h3 pThe tasks will be very diversified, and we mostly need someone who can learn quickly, who is eager to develop his/her strategic thinking, and who can communicate smoothly and effectively in an international environment, both internally and externally. /p ul li5+ years of experience in algorithm development and space systems. /li liInterest in optical systems, orbital mechanics, or space surveillance. /li liAdvanced programming skills in Pythonand Java. /li liKnowledge of ground-based sensors, orbital dynamics, and space object cataloging. /li liUnderstanding ofOrekit, GitLab CI/CD,Docker containerization,ECSS standards, and AI technologies is valued. /li liStrong analytical thinking, autonomy, and responsibility. /li liExcellent communication skills and teamwork mindset. /li liFluent in English and ideally in French. /li liTeam‑oriented, with the ability to work across functions and cultures. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience with European space standards and interaction with SSA/SDA programs. /li liFamiliarity with advanced cataloging techniques and tracking sensor networks. /li liPrevious involvement in international SSA initiatives or operational centers. /li /ul
