We organize ourselves into expert knowledge Units that collaborate with each other. /p pThat's why we are looking for curious individuals who are motivated by challenges and eager to grow personally and professionally, to join our team and make a positive impact on the world through technology. /p h3ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE? /h3 pWe want you to be a part of our team, in bBrussels /b, as ab Advanced Java Developer (Hybrid) /b /p h3WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY? /h3 ul liDesign, develop and unit-test back-end components using the Spring ecosystem /li liImplement REST and event-driven APIs and the underlying business logic /li liImplement persistence layers and integrate with messaging systems /li liImplement authentication and authorisation (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC / SAML) /li liContribute source code and configuration to the customer’s CI/CD pipeline /li liParticipate in code reviews and pair programming /li liProduce and maintain API documentation /li liIdentify, debug and fix defects; support deployment and migration activities /li /ul h3Will you join us in humanizing technology? /h3 h3Requirements /h3 h3WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU? /h3 pIf holding a Bachelor's degree at least 10 years of experience, if holding a Master's degree at least 8 years of expeirence. /p ul li4 years of experience developing Java back-end applications /li li6 years of experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring /li /ul pSecurity, Spring Data) /p ul li6 years of experience designing and implementing REST APIs and eventdriven integrations /li li5 years of experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks (e.g. /li /ul pHibernate/JPA) /p ul li4 years of experience with development and DevSecOps tooling, including /li /ul pversion control (Git), issue tracking (e.g. Jira or equivalent), collaboration /p p(e.g. Confluence or equivalent) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo /p por equivalent) /p ul li2 years of experience in the technical design of back-end components and /li /ul pin reviewing code produced by other developers /p pEnglish: level C1 /p pEducational Level required: Bachelor's degree (EQF level 6) in Computer Science, or equivalent /p h3Nice To Have /h3 ul liExperience with messaging/event platforms (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ) /li liExperience with containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) /li liExperience developing back-end applications in at least one of the customer’s /li /ul pbusiness domains (event management, safety and security, or document /p pmanagement) /p
