We're looking for a functional analyst to define requirements for a biometric identification platform covering fingerprints and facial recognition. You'll translate user needs into specifications for a replacement system with more advanced matching capabilities.
What you'll do
- Analyse and model users' needs and business processes.
- Gather, document and prioritise stakeholder requirements.
- Write detailed functional specifications in collaboration with developers.
- Assess change impacts on existing systems and processes.
- Define tests against functional requirements.
- Prepare and deliver user training when needed.
What you bring
- Knowledge of functional analysis methods and requirements management.
- UML modelling with Enterprise Architect or an equivalent tool.
- BPMN and workflow modelling with Visio, Draw.io or equivalent.
- Jira or Azure DevOps for task tracking, plus collaborative documentation tools.
- Microsoft 365, including advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables and macros.
- SQL queries and database analysis using SQL Server or MySQL.
- Functional and non-functional test management, including test automation tools.
- Agile principles, including Scrum and SAFe.
- API management and familiarity with AWS, Azure or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Basic DevOps and continuous integration knowledge using Git and Jenkins.
- IT security knowledge, including ISO standards.
- Clear written and spoken communication with technical teams and end users.
- An organised, autonomous approach and close collaboration with users and developers.
- Dutch, B1.
- English, B2.
- French, B1.
Nice to have
- Prototyping skills to illustrate proposed solutions through mock-ups.
- Experience with compliance management tools, for example for ISO 17025.
