You will lead process and equipment improvement initiatives, solve technical challenges across manufacturing, engineering, automation and digital systems, and contribute to operational excellence. You will also manage engineers’ teams and project teams to ensure successful objective delivery while driving innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. /p h3Who you’ll work with: /h3 pYou will be working in a multidisciplinary team that partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, automation, digital technology, quality, and external suppliers. Together, you will support critical manufacturing operations, deliver strategic improvement projects, and solve complex technical challenges that contribute to the production of innovative medicines. The team values collaboration, continuous learning, and a shared commitment to excellence. /p h3What you’ll do: /h3 ul liLead a team of Process Engineer or ad hoc member to achieve objectives. /li liLead complex process and equipment improvement projects from planning through execution and implementation. /li liDevelop project plans, budgets, timelines, resource strategies, and risk mitigation actions. /li liCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful project delivery. /li liInvestigate and resolve complex manufacturing, engineering, and automation‑related issues. /li liConduct root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance. /li liSupport production activities and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. /li /ul h3Interested? skills:
/h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, or a related scientific field. /li liStrong knowledge of biomanufacturing processes, process optimization, and regulated manufacturing environments. /li liSignificant experience in engineering and/or automation and/or operation and/or manufacturing science and technology. /li liProven project management experience, including planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project execution. /li liExperience troubleshooting complex technical challenges and implementing sustainable solutions. /li liFluent communication skills in English and French. /li /ul pUCB is an equal opportunity employer.
