About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Information Security Officer for a freelance position with our client. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with security standards and implementing robust information security policies. The position is based in Brussels, Belgium, with a hybrid work option, and spans a duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct an audit to assess compliance with the NIS2 directive.
- Develop an action plan to achieve NIS2 compliance.
- Present the audit and action plan to the executive committee, highlighting priorities.
- Oversee the implementation of the action plan and execute necessary actions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and procedures.
- Perform risk analyses and develop risk mitigation measures and incident response plans.
- Support and coach a junior CISO at our client.

- IT Security Best Practices in IT Infrastructure and Application Development - Expert

- Experience in presenting to executive committees.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
