About the teamYou’ll be part of our Financial Services Governance, Risk & Compliance team within Assurance, supporting leading insurance and financial services organisations.
That’s where you come in. You’ll be at the forefront of advising top players in the Belgian and international market, helping them navigate complex finance transformation in a controlled, compliant and future-ready way.
You will play a key role in strengthening finance functions while ensuring alignment with regulatory, risk and reporting requirements.
Your impactYou will lead and execute large-scale finance transformation initiatives within the insurance industry, helping organisations modernise their finance operating model.
In this role, you will drive improvements across processes, reporting, controls, data and technology, ensuring finance functions are efficient, compliant and future-ready. You will work closely with stakeholders across finance, risk, actuarial, business and technology to translate strategic priorities into practical transformation roadmaps and measurable impact.
What your day will look likeYou take ownership of complex transformation programmes and deliver tangible client impact:Lead end-to-end finance transformation programmes, from design to implementationDrive improvements across finance processes, reporting and controls, leveraging automation, data and new technologiesTranslate regulatory requirements (e.g. IFRS 17, Solvency II, CSRD) into effective finance solutions and operating modelsAct as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insightsLead and coach teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong collaboration across multidisciplinary environmentsWhat we will expect from youWe’re looking for a strategic, results-driven and people-oriented leader who combines expertise with impact:You bring strong experience in insurance finance transformation, audit or consulting, with deep knowledge of finance processes and reportingYou take ownership of complex projects and deliver high-quality outcomes within scope, timeline and budgetYou confidently engage with C-level stakeholders and translate complexity into clear, structured solutionsYou lead, coach and develop teams, fostering an inclusive, supportive and high-performing environmentYou combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leveraging data, automation and emerging technologiesYou thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindsetYou promote quality, integrity and collaboration while driving innovation and continuous improvement across teams and clients.
