TITLE: FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

1210 SAINT-JOSSE-TEN-NOODE LANGUAGES: DUTCH, ENGLISH, FRENCH CONTRACT DURATION: 01/10/2026
- 31/12/2026 WORK MODE: 100% (FULL TIME AND HYBRID AND 2 -3 DAYS ONSITE PER WEEK)

JOB DESCRIPTION
- The context includes a structural transformation of the IT landscape, modernization of architectures, reduction of technical debt, adoption of the cloud and compliance with regulatory compliance, including NIS2.
- Existing applications cover critical areas such as unemployment regulation (toelaatbaarheid, payments, debt management, financial and accounting processing). Some of these systems are based on legacy technologies, while new cloud/hybrid architectures are emerging. The architect plays a key role in harmonizing, securing and making these architectures coherent. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Support for development teams
- Perform functional analyses with a technical touch in the context of business projects.
- Advise on integrations, data models, performance and scalability.
- Support the team in the adoption of architectural technologies and patterns.
- Initiate or validate Proof-of-Concepts. Governance and quality
- Organize and manage design reviews.
- Ensure compliance with architecture standards and best practices.
- Continuously improve the maintainability, security and decoupling of systems.
- Document Collaboration and change management
- Ensure communication between business, development, security and infrastructure teams.
- Explain the technical choices in a clear and accessible way.
- Support collective decision-making and manage the convergence of visions.
- Contribute to the development of the teams' skills. Expertise and problem solving
- Analyze and solve business problems.
- Ensure consistency between legacy and modern components. Vision and Design
- Translate corporate orientations into concrete technical models.
- Design aligned, high-performance and maintainable application and data architectures.
- Ensure decisions support business objectives. Security, compliance and resilience
- Integrate security by design.
- Translating NIS2 requirements into concrete technical measures.
- Promote secure coding practices and supervision and auditability mechanisms.
