Senior IT Security Specialist

h3About the Role /h3 pAs an experienced Information Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in defining Daikin Europe’s Information Security strategy (Fusion30) and the multi-year roadmap to reach the strategic objectives. You will work closely with the Information Security leadership to ensure that our systems, services, and data remain secure, resilient, and compliant with evolving regulatory frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIS2. /p pThis role is embedded in the IT Planning department and contributes directly to the development and operation of our Information Security Management System (ISMS). /p pYou will act as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members and collaborate with external Security specialists and service partners, while also coordinating with security leaders across more than 40 Daikin Group locations. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ulliLead and support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the ISMS. /liliDefine the processes and controls to verify that we stay compliant with our own policies and that gaps, deviations are properly documented and get remediated /liliArchitecting Information Security at Daikin EMEA. /liliCoordinate and contribute to security-related projects roadmap. /liliServe as the primary security liaison for specific business domains or sites, ensuring local compliance with global security policies. /liliServe as prime contact for internal and external audits, and contribute to certification readiness (e.g., ISO27001). /liliActively participate in the development of security governance. /liliProvide (Security knowledge) coaching and guidance to junior Information Security Specialists and other stakeholders on security best practices by following latest trends in Information Security. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ulliProven relevant experience of which 5 years in information security, preferably in a multinational or regulated environment. /liliKnowledge of ISMS frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR). /liliExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English. /liliAbility to work independently and collaboratively across departments and geographies. /liliRelevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus. /li /ul h3Why Join Us? /h3 ulliBe part of a growing and strategically important security function. /liliInfluence the security posture of a global organization. /liliCollaborate with a diverse and experienced team across EMEA. /liliContribute to meaningful projects that support Daikin’s digital transformation. /li /ul h3What’s In It For Me? /h3 ulliAn open-ended contract /liliPossibility to develop further your Information Security expertise /liliDirectly contribute to increase the security governance maturity of a constantly expanding international company. /liliA competitive salary including a package of extra-legal benefits. /liliPossibility to work (max.) 2 days per week from home. /li /ul
