You are responsible for setting up and maintaining the modelling environment in line with the project requirements and the BIM strategy defined by the BIM Manager. /p pYou act as the primary point of contact for BIM Leads regarding software-related and technical matters and work closely with engineers and designers to ensure accurate and coordinated modelling of the project. You are also responsible for maintaining clean, structured and efficient BIM models, free from unnecessary views, families and non-essential content. /p pYou deliver high-quality BIM models within the agreed deadlines and according to the project's BIM standards and requirements. /p h3Your responsibilities include: /h3 ul liValidating the compliance of BIM models with project BIM standards and requirements. /li liMonitoring and maintaining version control of the different discipline models. /li liPeriodically merging and synchronising discipline models into a federated BIM coordination model. /li liIdentifying design inconsistencies, clashes and unresolved coordination issues through 3D clash detection and model review sessions. /li liAnalysing potential causes of design conflicts and reporting findings to the Design Manager. /li liPlanning, organising and chairing BIM coordination meetings. /li liActing as the key point of contact for Design Leads regarding geometric interfaces and associated control measurements. /li liSupporting BIM Leads and project teams with software-related and technical BIM questions. /li liEnsuring the overall quality, consistency and reliability of BIM models throughout the project. /li liMaintaining a structured modelling environment that facilitates efficient collaboration and information exchange between all stakeholders. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liYou hold a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or Architecture. /li liYou are bfluent in Dutch and English /b; knowledge of French is an asset. /li liYou have bat least 5 years of experience /b as a BIM Engineer/BIM Coordinator. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects (above €25 million) is considered a strong asset. /li liYou are proficient in BIM coordination and model management tools, including Navisworks Manage, Solibri Model Checker, Revisto, GIS. /li liExperience with Power BI, Dynamo and/or Grasshopper. /li liYou have a good understanding of BIM standards, workflows and best practices. /li liExperience with 4D and 5D BIM processes, methodologies and associated tools is considered an asset. /li liYou are detail-oriented, quality-driven and committed to delivering accurate and coordinated BIM models. /li liYou possess strong communication and collaboration skills and enjoy working in multidisciplinary project teams. /li /ul pA career at BESIX is a lot more than just a job, it's about being part of our changing and innovative world.
