Are you a mechanically strong engineer who enjoys working hands-on with large, complex machinery, solving technical problems and travelling internationally?
I'm recruiting for an established Belgian manufacturer of specialised, custom-built industrial equipment used in demanding production environments worldwide.
You'll work hands-on with large mechanical systems involving hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, moving assemblies and heavy mechanical components, taking responsibility for installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting at customer sites.
The role
- Install and commission complex industrial machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electromechanical faults
- Work with hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Carry out maintenance, repairs and technical modifications
- Read mechanical drawings and technical documentation
- Support and train customers on site
- Travel internationally, including assignments of several weeks
Your background
- Strong mechanical or electromechanical experience
- Background in field service, industrial maintenance, commissioning, installation or machine building
- Confident troubleshooting machinery independently
- Dutch and English
- Comfortable with extensive international travel
