pOur client, a major organization in the public transport sector, is seeking an expert to define and maintain the coherence of their network and security architectures. This role involves technical leadership on strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards like NIS2 and corporate transformation goals. /p ul liDefine the technological roadmap and reference architectures for network and security platforms. /li liEnsure architectural compliance with security requirements, resilience standards, and NIS2 regulations. /li liLead technical design for strategic projects by producing High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD). /li liEvaluate emerging technologies to propose evolution trajectories and rationalize the IT landscape. /li liAct as a technical reference for build and run teams while facilitating knowledge transfer. /li /ul ul li8+ years of experience in network architecture including bIP Routing /b, bSwitching /b, bMPLS /b, bHSRP/VRRP /b, and bWiFi /b. /li li8+ years of experience defining technological broadmaps /b and breference architectures /b. /li li8+ years of expertise with bCisco ACI /b, bExpress Route /b, and bNetskope /b. /li li8+ years of experience in bautomation /b and bProject Management /b within technical environments. /li li5+ years of experience with bPalo Alto Firewalls /b, bWAF /b, bVPN /b, and bProxy /b technologies. /li li5+ years of experience with bAlgosec /b and bLoad Balancing /b solutions. /li li3+ years of experience in bscripting /b for network tasks. /li liYou possess the flexibility to handle occasional night and weekend on-site operations. /li liYou are native or bilingual in bDutch /b or bFrench /b with professional working proficiency in bEnglish /b. /li /ul h3Nice to Haves /h3 ul liExperience with bAI /b applications within the domain of network security. /li liPrevious professional experience within the public sector. /li liKnowledge of bNIS2 /b requirements and risk management programs. /li /ul ul libStart date: /b 04/01/2027 /li libDuration: /b 12 months /li libWork regime: /b Full-time /li libLocation: /b Brussels /li libWorking model: /b Hybrid (3 days per week on-site) /li libContract: /b open to both permanent employees and freelancers /li /ul
