Your team
Within the Directorate Facilities, Central Route Charges Office and Finance , the Financial Analysis & Business Planning Unit (CF/FABP) leads the Agency’s forward‑looking financial planning, forecasting and analytical support for strategic decision‑making. It is responsible for the Annual Business Planning, the multiannual Agency Work Programme and budget preparation processes, performance reporting, and coordination with key internal stakeholders.
Your role
Your role will be to:
- Contribute to the development and the preparation of the regular financial checkpoints (i.e. Control Towers) of the different Agency’s services.
- Interact with business areas as support to budget execution and financial planning cycles: collect and analyse data, contribute to the development of SMART performance objectives and KPIs under the supervision of the Senior Financial Expert.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a refreshed Cost Allocation Methodology and the Procurement Planning Framework.
- Support the measurement of the Agency strategic achievements through balanced scorecard and KPIs ensuring convergence towards the Agency strategic objectives and initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis and insights ; contribute to ad-hoc studies, meetings, workshops etc., preparing and presenting structured outputs.
- Support the audit processes and responding to financial information requests.
- Stay informed of developments in relevant domain areas, sharing insights and learning from senior colleagues.
- Carry out any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.
Required qualifications, experience & competencies
- Candidates must fulfil the following educational and professional experience requirements: Completion of third level studies meeting European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Level 7 in a relevant domain (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business Administration, etc.) followed by at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in financial planning, budgeting, financial controlling and/or performance management.
- Experience in the advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting, including the preparation of financial dashboards and KPIs.
- Knowledge of financial systems and analytical tools (e.g. Oracle EPBCS, Oracle ERP or similar systems).
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting and data visualisation tools.
- Project management skills would be considered an asset.

- The working languages of the Agency are English and French. For this particular job, candidates must be proficient users of English at level C1. The selected candidate will be required to become at least a basic user of French at level A1 before the end of the probation period.
The levels relate to the European-framework-reference Common European Framework of References for languages (CEFR).
