Brussels, BelgiumYour missionAs an Operational Support Operator within the Middleware Foundations Squad, you play a key role in the operational follow-up and maintenance of integrated systems solutions to our customers:Â
· You will monitor the health of our Production environments.Â
· You will communicate on issues with internal and external partners.Â
· You will do a first technical analysis on incidents. And will drive them till closure.Â
· You provide support and guidance during the development and test phases. Ensuring delivered implementations are fit for operations.Â
· You will align, support and execute applicative deploys, as well as infrastructure changes.

· Take ownership (scope, timing, quality) for assignments and for communication with customers, colleagues, partners and suppliers.Â
· Monitor messaging traffic and other production activities over the different interfaces. Act accordingly in case of failures.Â
· Perform incident analysis.Â
· For recurring issues launch Problems and work together with other team members towards a solution.Â
· Ensure technical support to key users and functional analysts, to take initiative to develop improvements.Â
· Adhere and follow the solution lifecycle methodology.Â
· Understand the solution architecture and maintain the technical documentation to ensure an up-to-date high level and detailed knowledgeon the system set-up within the Delivery and Operations Organization.Â
· Provide support in E2E incidents and problems during Extended business hours: 7h
- 19h.Â
· Contribute in a 24/7 on-call guard duty for critical components.Â
· Support production deploys and infrastructure interventions in and out of business hours.Â
· Continuously improve the operational follow-up by fine-tuning procedures, documentation and automation.Â
· Drive the Operations team to a Dev-Ops mode.
Qualifications SOA specificÂ
· You have interest or experience in IT Operations.Â
· You have interest or experience in following Infrastructure and Integration Solutions:IBM ACEIBM MQIBM Data PowerELKKafka / ConfluentDockerAzure infraKONGPostgreSQLBash scriptingÂ
· You are familiar with integration concepts of an ESB, a message broker, File transfers, cloud integration, EDA, API management and other middleware concepts.Â
· It is an asset if you have experience with Aix scripting, Database, sql, Java, perl scripting, XML.
Qualifications PersonalÂ
· You have a Bachelor and/or Master or equivalent.Â
· You have good communication skills and you are customer oriented and result driven.Â
· You are proactive, motivated and with excellent team working and communication skills.Â
· You are able to work in a structured and autonomous way and to take responsibility.Â
· You have good analytic and problem solving skills and can assist in solving incidents.Â
· You assist your colleagues when required, and share freely the information with them.Â
