Develop are currently looking for an experienced IT Solution Lead to support a major organisation in Belgium with the delivery and ongoing development of business-critical IT applications and digital solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with solution design, application delivery and stakeholder management.
- Duration: 12-month contract
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Freelance / B2B
- Languages: Fluent English and French or Dutch
Key Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of IT solutions from initial design through implementation, deployment and ongoing support.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership across software development, integration and application delivery.
- Contribute to solution architecture, ensuring scalability, security and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of custom-built and commercial software solutions.
- Work closely with developers, architects, project managers, external suppliers and business stakeholders.
- Conduct technical assessments, fit-gap analysis and software evaluations.
- Support application maintenance, incident management and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in technical solution delivery, IT solution leadership or application management.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, particularly .NET and SQL Server .
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, APIs, system integration and cloud technologies .
- Good knowledge of software architecture, security principles and application lifecycle management.
- Experience translating complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and IT service management.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English alongside French or Dutch.
