The focus of your architecture /p pactivities will be to establish resilient solution architectures for business and IT problems in /p pline with the ING Belgium and Group strategy. /p h3A day in the life of a Solution Architect /h3 ul liYou are working in cooperation with IT and Business stakeholders recognizing the correlation / dependencies between their activities. /li liYou create your designs in close collaboration with the engineers and Domain Architects, guiding them to the deployment of the design. /li liYou own the end-to-end architecture of KYC and/or Mortgages capabilities ensuring that regulatory requirements, business processes, data flows and IT solutions evolve coherently. /li liYou drive to make complex changes or projects happen within and across Tribes. Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in the translation of business requirements in a sequence that delivers customer value as early as possible. /li liYou define and align the roadmaps between squads – from same or different Tribes – and other parts of the organization and thoroughly manage dependencies. /li liYou are the connecting pin between colleagues having different expertise in self-steering teams (squads). Your colleagues will be IT Integrators, IT Solution Architects, Engineers, Domain Architects, Product Owners or Squad Masters, Developers, Customer Journey Experts,etc. /li liYou are a driver of the solution approach (together with squads) using in-depth knowledge of Business and IT such as architecture, application landscapes, infrastructure, business operations and legislation. /li /ul pA colleague with a talent for taking it on and making it happen, enthusiasm for helping others to be successful and a knack for always being a step ahead. /p h3As a Solution Architect, you will also need: /h3 ul liAt least 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or IT delivery. /li liAffinity with architectural practices, solution design, and translating business requirements into sustainable technology solutions. /li liTOGAF, ArchiMate, and/or Public Cloud certifications are considered a plus. /li liBroad interest in banking technology, with knowledge of domains such Know Your Customer (KYC) or Mortgages being an asset. /li liProficient in English (ING's corporate language) and Dutch or French. /li liStrong behavioural competencies: collaboration, communication, stakeholder management, innovation, and the ability to navigate complexity and drive pragmatic decision-making. /li liStrong technical competencies with attention to architecture principles, data, privacy, security, scalability, performance, resilience, cost and ethics. Able to work autonomously and act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for engineers, product teams, and fellow architects. /li liAbility to design end-to-end solutions, balance functional and non-functional requirements, and document architectural decisions in a clear and structured manner. /li /ul
