As part of our activities in the Renewable Energy sector, we are looking for a HSE Site Manager to support the construction and commissioning of a major industrial renewable energy facility. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing the project's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategy across all site activities. Acting as a key safety leader, you will work closely with construction teams, contractors, commissioning teams and project management to ensure the highest standards of safety performance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
- Deploy and maintain the project's HSE strategy across all construction and commissioning activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety observations to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
- Participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and safety reviews for critical activities.
- Monitor the implementation of safe working practices and ensure compliance with site HSE procedures.
- Manage and verify permit-to-work processes and oversee contractor co-activity control.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe situations, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Monitor HSE performance indicators and ensure action plans are effectively deployed and followed up.
- Provide HSE coaching and support to construction teams, supervisors and contractors.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset across the project.
- Prepare HSE reports and communicate safety performance to project stakeholders and management.
ABOUT YOU:
- Degree in Safety Engineering, Prevention, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE roles within industrial construction projects.
- Proven experience working on large construction sites and managing contractor safety activities.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, permit-to-work systems and construction safety practices.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective action follow-up.
- Knowledge of Seveso, energy, industrial process or large-scale infrastructure environments is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to engage with all levels of the organization and influence safe behaviors on site.
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
