For one of our clients operating in the facility management industry, we are currently looking for a Junior Finance Business Advisor on a permanent contract (CDI).

In this role, you will play a key part within the Finance team, acting as a trusted business partner for operational stakeholders. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support financial reporting, performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous process improvement while helping optimize financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Business Partnering & Reporting

  • Support the monthly and annual closing process from a management accounting perspective, working closely with the accounting team and business departments.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare recurring financial reports to support monthly performance reviews, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to provide meaningful insights for key stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistency and reconciliation across financial reports and reporting tools.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Analysis

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates.
  • Partner with cost center managers to prepare, monitor, and review their budgets.
  • Develop financial models, reports, and analytical tools to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assist with the integration of budgets and forecasts into financial systems.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support business decision-making and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools.
  • Contribute to the automation and simplification of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial performance.

Accounting Support

  • Provide support to the Finance team by applying sound general accounting knowledge.
  • Assist with invoice coding and allocation.
  • Monitor invoice approval workflows and follow up on outstanding approvals.

Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with strong business acumen and a proactive mindset, capable of transforming financial data into actionable business insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with initial professional experience, or a Master's degree in a finance-related discipline.
  • Previous experience in management accounting, financial reporting, business controlling, or financial analysis is considered an asset.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyze financial results, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and identify the root causes of performance variances.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and propose practical solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
  • Interest in leveraging AI and digital tools to enhance financial processes and ways of working.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
