Belgium / Hybridbr/ Start date: ASAPbr/ Duration: Long-termbr/ Our client is currently strengthening its Data organization and is looking for a Senior Data Product Owner to take ownership of the HR Data domain.br/ You will join a multidisciplinary Data team of around 30-40 people, working across several business areas such as HR, Finance and Loyalty.br/ The organization is progressively implementing a Data Mesh approach, offering an opportunity to play an active role in shaping the way Data Products are managed and delivered.br/ br/ h2Description /h2 ul liTake end-to-end ownership of the HR Data Product, from business needs to delivery and continuous improvement /li liIdentify, challenge and translate business requirements into clear and actionable Data Product specifications /li liWork closely with business stakeholders, key users, Data Engineers, Data Analysts and other technical teams /li liDefine and prioritize the Data Product roadmap according to business value and organizational priorities /li liContribute actively to the implementation and evolution of the Data Mesh strategy /li liEnsure that Data Products follow appropriate Data Governance, quality and accessibility standards /li liAct as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment /li liPromote a data-driven mindset and help business stakeholders make better use of available data /li liWork in a cross-functional environment where processes and structures are still being established /li /ul br/ h2Your profile /h2 ul liSeveral years of experience as a Senior Data Product Owner or in a similar senior Data Product role /li liStrong practical understanding of Data Mesh concepts and principles /li liGood knowledge of Cloud technologies, with GCP preferred; AWS or Azure are also considered /li liGood understanding of SQL and BI tools such as MicroStrategy or similar solutions /li liSolid knowledge of Data Governance and Data Management /li liPrevious professional experience within the HR/Data domain is required /li liExperience in Retail or a comparable large-scale business environment is a strong advantage /li liStrong combination of business understanding, functional analysis and technical Data skills /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences /li liFlexible mindset and comfortable working in a changing and not yet fully structured environment /li liStrong transversal and collaborative approach /li liFluent in French or Dutch and English /li /ul
