Your RoleYou will take ownership of an end-to-end data engineering and architecture role within a company-wide visible project. The focus is on translating business needs into robust data architecture, then turning that architecture into practical data solutions that can be developed, optimised and scaled.
This is a hands-on role as much as an architectural one: you will work on data modelling, ETL, process optimisation and automated runs, while collaborating closely with business users, program stakeholders and other data teams.
Your ResponsibilitiesTranslate business requests into data architecture and technical solutionsDesign, develop and model data flows, including ETL and automated processingOptimise existing processes and improve performance of data runsSupport AML-related data work, including scenario and reporting needsContribute to the SAS migration agenda and possible SAS-to-Python conversionWork through a ticket-based intake process and collaborate directly with end usersPartner with analytics, visualisation, predictive and programme stakeholders in a flat, cross-functional team
