Key Responsibilities
Lead and support large-scale data migration initiatives to a modern cloud data platform Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines Work extensively with Snowflake and Databricks in a production environment Improve data architecture, performance, and reliability Collaborate with data architects, BI teams, and software engineers Ensure best practices across data governance, performance optimisation, and security Required Experience 5+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (including Spark) Proven experience delivering data platform migration projects Experience designing modern data lakes and data warehouse architectures Strong SQL and Python skills Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Nice to Have Experience in software product environments Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices Knowledge of data modelling methodologies Working Model 1 day per week onsite in Antwerp Long-term 2-year engagement €925 per day
