About your job
As an
SAP PP Consultant
, you play a key role in digitising and optimising our clients’ production processes. You analyse manufacturing and production planning processes, translate these into SAP S/4HANA solutions, and support clients from functional design through to implementation and optimisation. You understand how production is integrated with procurement, inventory, sales and controlling, and therefore look beyond just SAP PP. You contribute end-to-end insights into how clients can organise their planning and production more efficiently and with a view to the future. As a mid-level or senior consultant, we also expect you to take on a leading role in projects, lead workshops and mentor less experienced consultants. You will work alongside experienced colleagues and inspire others by actively sharing your knowledge and experience within Amista. Your tasks and responsibilities
Leading and/or participating in workshops with clients on production and planning processes. Analysing manufacturing requirements and translating these into a functional SAP design. Advising clients on
SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP). Configuring and optimising SAP PP solutions. Supporting processes relating to
production planning, MRP, production orders and execution. Contributing ideas on relevant master data such as materials, Bills of Material (BOM), routings and work centres. Understanding and monitoring the integration between PP and other SAP domains such as MM, SD and CO. Carrying out and supervising functional and integration tests. Documenting configurations, processes and functional solutions. Supporting clients and end-users through support, training and change management. Actively sharing your knowledge with colleagues and contributing to their development. Participating in project meetings and following up on ongoing projects. Contributing to pre-sales processes, solution workshops and demos for prospective clients. As a senior consultant: providing substantive guidance to colleagues and helping to shape the chosen SAP solution and project approach. Do you recognize yourself?
We are looking for an SAP PP Consultant who feels at home in a manufacturing environment and who can bridge the gap between technology and the reality of the shop floor. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, IT or equivalent through experience. Several years’ relevant experience as an
SAP PP Consultant

As a senior consultant: experience in providing substantive direction to projects and mentoring colleagues. Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes. Functional expertise in relevant SAP PP processes such as
MRP, production orders and master data. Good understanding of the integration between
PP, MM, SD and CO. Experience with
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
and/or full S/4HANA implementations is a strong asset. Familiar with analysing complex business requirements and translating them into practical and workable SAP solutions. An awareness of the impact of software changes on users and the associated change management. Strong analytical skills, combined with a proactive and eager-to-learn mindset. For senior roles: a desire to take ownership, share knowledge and guide colleagues and clients through the technical aspects. Flexibility to respond to the needs of clients, projects and the team. Fluency in both
