Stanley/Stella is accelerating its digital transformation to strengthen customer experience and scale its business platforms across an international ecosystem of decorators, resellers, and partners.

The Enterprise Platform Architect & Tech Lead acts as the company’s senior technical authority , reporting directly to the CIO.

This role defines, governs, and continuously evolves the technology foundations of the enterprise ensuring coherence, scalability, resilience, and security across all platforms, integrations, and data capabilities.

This is a cross-cutting technical mandate not a functional management role with accountability for integrating, securing, and anticipating technologies across the organization.

The role prevents fragmentation, avoids short-term decisions with long-term consequences, and translates emerging technologies into robust, production-ready foundations .

A key and immediate priority is to lead the integration of AI technologies including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, orchestration tools, low-code platforms, and API-based integrations across the company’s core stack: Infor M3, HubSpot, Magento, Azure, and Power BI .

Your role and impact

1. Integrate and scale AI technologies

  • Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures leveraging company data for intelligent search and decision support
  • Assess and deploy agentic workflows orchestrating processes across ERP, CRM, and e‑commerce platforms
  • Leverage N8N and similar orchestration tools to automate workflows across systems
  • Drive adoption of low‑code / no‑code platforms within controlled and governed frameworks (e.g. Make, Bubble, Lovable)
  • Ensure API‑first AI integration : reusable, composable, auditable services
  • Lead proof‑of‑concepts and transform successful experiments into enterprise‑grade solutions
  • Build and govern a central AI and application toolkit , tracking usage and performance
  • Enable future AI use cases such as product recommendations, pricing optimisation, demand forecasting, process automation, intelligent customer interaction

2. Foster communities and drive adoption

  • Build and lead communities of practice across architecture, data, AI, and digital tools
  • Promote tools, standards, and good practices through workshops, documentation, and internal communication
  • Engage credibly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted voice on technology topics across the organisation

3. Integrate across the technology landscape

  • Define and evolve the target architecture of the digital platform
  • Ensure end‑to‑end integration across systems
  • Govern data flows, APIs, and shared services
  • Define scalable integration patterns and eliminate point‑to‑point connections
  • Support and challenge engineering teams and vendors without becoming a bottleneck

4. Secure the foundations

  • Identify and address structural technical debt early
  • Balance innovation speed with long‑term sustainability
  • Structure data foundations as a shared enterprise capability (Azure & Power BI)
  • Enforce best practices in security, resilience, performance, observability

5. Define and enforce standards, patterns, and documentation

  • Define and govern architecture standards and design patterns across all domains
  • Maintain clear and usable architecture documentation (topology, data models, integrations, APIs, security)
  • Establish guidelines for teams, vendors, and partners to ensure consistency across the ecosystem
  • Own: decision logs, architecture review processes, pattern libraries
  • Ensure all major technical decisions are documented, justified, and traceable
  • Define onboarding standards enabling fast and reliable integration of new teams and partners

Scope Evolution

  • Azure Architecture & Security: lead the Azure architect and security function, ensuring full alignment with enterprise standards and infrastructure strategy
  • System Administration: oversee the sysadmin function, ensuring platform stability, performance and operational security across all environments
  • Technical Support Team: manage the technical support unit, driving service quality, incident resolution and operational continuity

About you

Experience
